    Close to their hotel-restaurant, Christian, Nicole and Yves Monnet will do all they can so you have an unforgettable stay in their traditional farmhouse in the Jura mountains in the Franche-Comte region of France. All the bedrooms are situated off a large living area where you can meet together for those special moments.

    They have developed a unique concept where tradition and modern comfort mix. The farmhouse is located at 1100 metres in altitude surrounded by nature but easily accessible.

    Les Greniers is located in an area well-known for cross country skiing and downhill ski runs equipped with tows are just 4 kilometres away. However, you might prefer to go skating on Lake Tailleres, just across the border in Switzerland. You can even discover the thrill of dog-sleds pulled by huskies. For a more relaxing time, try the spa at Yverdon in Switzerland or perhaps visit the many museums in the Doubs area in the Jura or just over the border in Switzerland.

    After you travelled through the Brevine Valley you may have noticed some « droseras » , but there are many other natural sites and parks to discover such as Le Mont Chasseron, le Chateleu or the Creux du Vent either on foot or by bicycle. Refresh yourself in either Lake Taillere or Lake St Point, both teeming with fish within your grasp. You can also visit an extraordinary site in Switzerland, the underground mills in Le Locle or the underground caves at Vallorbe. Go hiking by yourselves or with a guide and try to get close to the mountain goats, the same ones that sometimes pass just outside the windows at Les Greniers.
